Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the Kurds going to Kirkuk to conduct a census has caused concern among the Arabs and Turkmens of the city.

  

 "Turkey stands by the Iraqi Turkmen with all institutions and monitors their rights and interests, including the peace and security of our fellow Turkmen, who are the bridges of friendship between Iraq and Turkey," Foreign Ministry spokesman Oncu Keçeli said  Most of the population is in Kirkuk, which is a key priority for bilateral relations with this  in the country.


 "Although the census does not include information about ethnicity, the intensive movement of the population has caused concern among Iraqi Arabs and Turkmens," he said.

  

 He said that they are closely monitoring the situation, regarding the transfer of Kurdish citizens to Kirkuk, which after many years of the census process in Iraq, according to the Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman, this will lead to the registration of people as residents of Kirkuk  It will be the next elections
