The Kurdistan Regional Government's Ministry of Natural Resources issued a statement on the sale of the region's oil, saying: "We reject all rumors to smuggle oil to Israel."


The ministry's statement said that in recent days, some Iraqi media outlets have claimed that kurdistan region's oil is smuggled out of tankers and sold to Israel.

"We at the ministry of natural resources strongly reject these misleading calls and count them as efforts by the enemies of stability and agreement between Iraq and Kurdistan," he said.

The ministry calls the move a ruin of relations between the region and Baghdad, saying that at a time when both the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Federal Iraqi Government are busy solving the unsolved problems, these misleading calls are aimed only at destroying the golden opportunity made after the formation of the new Iraqi government to solve the basic problems.
