Norway's DNO, that produces 107,000 barrels of oil daily in the Kurdistan Region, has decided to stop producing oil in the region.


The Norwegian company DNO, which works in the field of oil and gas, has announced that it has stopped producing oil in the Kurdistan Region.

The company, which produces 107,000 barrels of oil daily in the Kurdistan Region's oil fields, said that after four days of stopping exporting oil, "we have begun to close the oil wells."

The company, changed its production to stocking after the decision on the region's oil, says we can no longer produce oil and our ability to store is limited.

Bizhan Mosvar, chief executive of DNO, said, "Unfortunately, at this sensitive time, the market and the high price of oil exports and oil production in the region have been suspended."
