Text of the congratulations of the women of the Gorran Movement:

On behalf of the women of the Gorran Movement, we warmly congratulate all girls and women in Kurdistan and the world on the 8th of March.

March 8 is a worldwide day, a symbolic day of women's struggle against oppression, injustice and inequality.

Celebrating March 8 means celebrating the struggle and efforts of women in the world. Despite their participation in different stages of political struggle and revolution, women in Kurdistan, unfortunately, political, financial, economic and social conditions do not allow them to ensure a decent and dignified life.

In terms of administration and finance, the country suffers from corruption, crisis, absence and poverty, women have suffered the lion's share of these crises and shortcomings, unemployment, poor living conditions and lack of a large proportion of the population  Participation in the political sphere, due to the problems of discrimination and injustice among citizens and the lack of consolidation of the concept of citizenship and discrimination between different levels and groups, has affected the disappointment of women, who feel social injustice.

Even if there are girls and women in the highest levels of management and decision-making centers, the Kurdistan Regional Government and Parliament should work to ensure women's rights.

We emphasize that the Kurdistan Regional Government and public institutions work to ensure women's rights in terms of providing jobs, employment, free health, reducing and eliminating social violence, independence of the courts, free higher education, education and awareness.

Finally, glory be to the struggle of women for a just society.
