The nominated candidate for the new Iraqi government announces that reducing poverty will be the priority of his government's agenda.


On the occasion of The Day of Combating Poverty, Mohammed Shiaa Sudany tweeted "On the day of the fight against poverty, the poverty rate in Iraq should be addressed," 


"Reducing poverty is a priority for our government's agenda, as well as improving health services, education and housing for the poor," he said.


Meanwhile, the rate of poverty and unemployment in Iraq continues to rise because of conflict and mismanagement of the government.
