The governor of Erbil announced several decisions on the issue of environmental pollution in Erbil and revealed that 10 days permission has been given to 138 illegal factories that do not implement the conditions;  They will be closed.

  

 Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw said in a press conference;  Several decisions have been made to clean the air in Erbil, one of which is to confiscate vehicles that pollute the environment.

  

 He added that except for cars, the generators that have not been timed in the city, only have one week to set the time and after that date will be confiscated.

  

 According to another decision of the governor of Erbil, 10 days will be given to 138 illegal refineries operating in the city without a license and said;  If they do not meet the requirements within that time, they will be closed.

  

 Regarding the refineries, the governor said that they have asked the Ministry of Natural Resources not to give raw materials to illegal refineries.

  

 He said that they will form a special committee to investigate the issue of environmental and air pollution in Erbil.
