 Dana Ahmad Majid, Secretary General of the Gorran Movement, met with Faramarz Asadi, the new Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil, on Wednesday.

  

 In the meeting, the Secretary General congratulated the new Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil on his appointment and wished him success in his duties.

  

 The two sides also discussed the political situation in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the region, and stressed the need to deal with the developments in the region with caution in order to remove the threat to stability in order to resolve the challenges and problems through dialogue and peaceful means.
