Turkey has once again extended the travel ban on Sulaymaniyah airport for six other months.

  

 A source at Sulaimani airport told KNN digital media;  Turkey has extended the curfew on Sulaimani Airport for another six months until July 6,

  

 On April 3, 2023, Sulaimani Airport was notified by Turkish Airlines that it had canceled its flights for that month. Sulaimani Airport officials said the decision was temporary and only for that month, but since then Sulaimani airspace has been closed to Turkey  in  On June 22, 2024, the ban was extended for six months until December 7,
