The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) says that Baghdad has no comments on the salary list of his ministry and only asked them to increase the pension deduction.

Minister of Social Affairs Kowestan Mohammed told in a news conference that they have asked to go to Baghdad to register 30,000 new disabled people and at the same time the salaries of the disabled to be equal to Baghdad.

She added that another of their demands from Baghdad is to include the money of the social protection network of the Kurdistan Region, they have sent all the information and are waiting for a response.

She said the Iraqi Financial Supervision Authority has no comments on the salary list of employees of the Ministry of Labor, so they reject all the rumors on the issue.

According to Mohammed, Baghdad has asked them to increase the pension deduction from 7% to 10% and send them the salary list again.

Se added that the only problem with the salary list of the disabled is that the disabled in some of the conflict areas receive two salaries, one from the region and the other on the staff of Baghdad  Iraqi specials were not removed to avoid this problem.
