The head of the peace committee of Sulaimani province for the Kurdistan parliamentary elections stressed that military parades, carrying weapons and long fleet of cars are prohibited during the election campaign and sent a message to the parties participating in the elections.

  

 According to a decree signed by Haval Abubakr, the head of the peace committee of Sulaimani province for the Kurdistan parliamentary elections, carrying weapons, armed phenomena, military parades, convoys and long convoys of vehicles that disrupt public traffic during the election campaign is prohibited.

  

 He also stressed that the candidates, entities and coalitions should conduct campaigns in a civil manner and comply with the security and peace and guidelines of the Election Commission.

  

 He called on the political parties to refrain from attacks and retaliation in the event of any problems and to resort to the courts, the election commission and official institutions.
