Secretary General of the Gorran Movement  Any change in West Kurdistan will affect the Kurdistan Region and vice versa, so we must act together and carefully so that our nation does not suffer, he said: Gorran can have a role in these changes.


 Dana Ahmad Majid, Secretary General of the Gorran Movement in a meeting with a number of activists of the movement in Erbil, pointed to the political situation and developments.  For events and challenges, our nation may suffer greatly.


 He added that;  Any change in West Kurdistan will have an impact on the Kurdistan Region and any change in the Kurdistan Region will have a great impact on West Kurdistan and its future. "We must work together to resolve the crises, even temporarily.


 The Secretary General also addressed the activists and said: Gorran can play its role in these changes, because Gorran is a force that carries national thought and has enough cadres, strength, ability, human resources and skilled people in different fields to change the direction of solutions  Both for the internal situation and improving the lives of the people and in terms of our attitude towards West Kurdistan, we can say  The programs, statements and proposals of the Gorran Movement have become the basis of the current relationship between the Kurdistan Region and West Kurdistan, which everyone now sees and is happy with.


 Regarding the internal situation of the Gorran Movement and holding a national conference, Dana Ahmad Majid said: We are preparing for a new phase and revival, the first step is to hold a national conference, which is one of the basic demands of the Iraqi High Election Commission  They have held a congress.


 He said: We have divided the current steps into two stages, the first stage is to hold this exceptional conference to rebuild Gorran by drafting a rule and program that reflects the wishes and opinions of the majority of Gorran activists.


 He also pointed out that the youth and women must be a priority for the new phase in the Gorran Movement, both in terms of working to support and implement their demands and for their participation in the structures and bodies.
