Among thousands of supporters and after (15) days of hunger strike to implement the demands of salaried employees, the main slogan of today's supporters of teachers was to break the strike, so the striking teachers decided to suspend the strike.

  

 Hadi Rashid, one of the striking teachers, read a speech on behalf of the other 13 striking teachers.  The striking teachers have taken up civil struggle to regain their rights to promotion and the implementation of the teachers' salaries, but the Kurdistan Regional Government authorities have neither seen nor wanted to listen to them.

  

 He said: "We thank all those who supported the striking teachers, as well as thank the health workers who have always monitored the striking teachers and reporters and media channels that brought the voice of teachers and all those who supported the teachers to the world.

  

 He explained that they will not break the strike under pressure from any party, but out of respect for the Holy Quran and at the request of citizens, the striking teachers made the decision.

  

 He added that the political process in the Kurdistan Region has been disrupted by some people.
