Special voting for the Kurdistan parliamentary elections has begun

The special election will be held at 7:00 p.m. today and the Election Commission has confirmed that it is fully prepared for the process. 


Ayser Yassin، spokesman for the Iraqi Election Commission for the sixth round of the Kurdistan Parliament، said that the transfer of all voting machines and other necessities to the polling stations was completed on Thursday and stressed that they are ready for the special election and that the general election will be held on Sunday.

 

The spokesman for the sixth round of the Kurdistan parliament elections explained that there are 215،960 special voters who will vote in 165 polling stations and 749 polling stations in the Kurdistan Region and the provinces of Kirkuk، Baghdad، Nineveh، Wast، Salah al-Din، Diyala and Anbar.
