Today is the last day of the fishing season and fishing will resume in the Kurdistan Region on Friday، and some of the fishermen have resumed fishing today and it is expected that the fish will reach the market this afternoon.

 According to a statement issued by the Directorate of Fish Resources of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, today is the last day of the ban on fishing in the Kurdistan Region.

  

 The Kurdistan Regional Government has banned fishing in the Kurdistan Region for three months until June 15, but this year the deadline was extended to June 20 by a decision.

  

 According to the decision, today is the deadline for the fishing ban and fishermen can resume fishing tomorrow, but some fishermen have resumed their work today and the fish is scheduled to reach the markets today.
