Gorran Movement spokesman says; The message of the movement is the same as that announced on February 17 and in recent days. The struggle for reform, the rule of law and the fight against corruption continues.
Dler Abdulkhaliq, the spokesperson of the Gorran Movement, stated at the 14th anniversary of February 17, which was held at the grave of Martyr Rezhwan, the first martyr of the protests; that until now, the political authority of the Kurdistan Region has remained indifferent to the demands made 14 years ago for political, administrative, legal, and operational reforms, and now the situation in the Kurdistan Region is worse compared to the days following February 17.
He stressed that despite being in opposition or participating in the government, the Gorran Movement will continue to support the street protests and wherever there is protest in Kurdistan, the political, media and popular ability of the movement will be with the people of the Kurdistan Region.
Abdul-Khaliq pointed out that the Goran Movement has been a refuge for the families of the martyrs and injured in the events of February 17 and the following days، and that the struggle that has been carried out for reform، the rule of law and the fight against corruption is still ongoing and the people of the Kurdistan Region hope for its implementation.
