The commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) says the future of Syria is unclear and Turkey's attacks will undermine peace and reconstruction efforts.
"Syria is going through a historic change and is facing a huge challenge," said Mazlum Abdi, commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in an interview with Hawar News.
"There is no clear picture of the future of Syria and everything will become clear over time," he said.
"Turkey's continued attacks in West Kurdistan will hinder future reconstruction and disrupt political dialogue," Abdi said, adding that they, like HSD, continue to defend Qarakozak and the Tishrin Dam and the United States is trying to declare a ceasefire.
He said that they are currently trying to form a unified group called (West) to go to Damascus and demand their rights, but first they must agree on a unified program.
He stressed that their relationship with the new administration is directly with Ahmad Shara and they have no tensions with the Syrian Liberation Council and have reached a common point with the new administration on the future of Hezbollah by organizing them into a unified military force.
