A delegation from the Kurdish National Council in Syria (ENKS) has met with Mazloum Abdi, the commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
Faisal Yousef, an ENKS spokesperson, told Channel8 that the discussions with Abdi were positive.
“In our meeting, we emphasized the importance of unity and presenting a unified Kurdish delegation to Damascus. These discussions will continue,” he stated.
Efforts to unify Kurdish parties in West Kurdistan have been ongoing for some time. This marks the second meeting between Mazloum Abdi and an ENKS delegation since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
