The Gorran Movement withdrew from both the regional and local governments

The Kurdistan Regional Government has withdrawn from the Kurdistan Regional Government and the local governments.

  

 Dana Ahmad Majid, Secretary General of the Gorran Movement, announced the withdrawal of the movement from both the Kurdistan Regional Government and the local government.

  

 The National Council of the Gorran Movement has decided to withdraw from both the Kurdistan Regional Government and the local government.

  

 "Their decision to withdraw from the government is in response to the demands of the citizens of the Kurdistan Region and the Gorran supporters inside and outside the organizational structure of our movement," he said.


 "Our decision to withdraw from the Kurdistan Regional Government and local government is part of a series of changes, positions and decisions, which after the internal changes of our movement, in consultation with a number of leaders, personalities and activists outside our movement  Let's strengthen it.”


 “In this regard, our experience of participating in the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government, as witnessed by the people, activists and voters, was not successful.  Although it is a late decision, it is right and necessary, so we thank you for your patience and promise to correct the mistakes.”


 “The Gorran Movement is coming back with a new political strategy, which is to return to the political program of Mr. Nusrewan at the beginning of the establishment of the Gorran Movement;  "A strategy to revitalize the capacity and energy of the streets, people, youth, women and our activists.
