Sulaimani Governor Havall Abubakr has resigned from his post after the decision of the Gorran Movement and its general secretary to withdraw from the government and local administrations.

  


  

 Sulaimani Governor Haval Abubakr announced that he was elected as the governor of Sulaimani in 2017 by the choice and decision of Rawanshad Nusrewan Mustafa.

  

 Havall Abubakr said that for the third and final time asks the Kurdistan Regional Government to approve their resignation from the post of governor of Sulaimani.

  

 He said he had previously applied for resignation in 2021 and 2022 after the expiration of his term of service.
