Today, Monday, Dr.  Latif Rashid received Dana Ahmad Majid, Secretary of the Gorran Movement and an accompanying delegation at the Salam Palace in Baghdad.

  

 The meeting discussed the latest developments in the political and economic situation in Iraq in general and the Kurdistan Region in particular and the President stressed the importance of the Kurdish political parties to reach a radical solution to the problems of the region.

 The President stressed the need to follow the method of democratic dialogue to resolve Kurdistan's national issues and adopt common tools to achieve national unity and strengthen it to face the challenges of the stage.

 In turn, the delegation thanked the President for the warm welcome and reaffirmed their commitment to protect the rights of the Kurdish people like their brothers in other communities in Iraq in order to strengthen security and stability in the region and the country in general.
